JR Raphael and the Flash disaster

Dear JR Raphael,

not admitting a mistake makes you look like an idiot.

In my original story — written in August of 2010, shortly after Flash first started rolling out to Android phones — I noted how the presence of Flash on a mobile phone allowed me to view elements of the Web that had previously been inaccessible.

Today, of course, Adobe announced it was discontinuing active development of its Flash Player for mobile devices.

Does this change or negate anything I said in my original missive? Nope.

How about you quote the relevant parts of your original article? The headline for example:

Why the Apple crowd’s completely wrong about Flash

Or your conclusion:

I have to say: Stevie J. and his legions of followers couldn’t be more wrong.

You were dead wrong. Admit it. Calling Steve Jobs “Stevie” makes you look stupid as well.
